I’ve been fascinated by eagles ever since I can remember. Recently, I was moping around on my terrace, faced with an agonizing decision and struggling with unanswered questions in my mind, when something broke up my pity party. An eagle circled right above me a couple of times, gliding effortlessly and taking a few deep dives before disappearing into the sunset. It was a God-given treat!
So what’s the point of starting this blog? It’s based on the timeless
promise to every child of God:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
As we go through life, with seasons when we are weary or wounded, it’s easy to forget His promise and His ability to help us soar above our circumstances. Through this blog, I hope to remind myself and my courageous, fierce, passionate, gentle, magnificent friends out there that as daughters of the Most High, we have the privilege of taking hold of the power God has given us and be an eagle in the sky!
